Prajit K. Dutta is a Professor in the Department of Economics at Columbia University, author of Strategies and Games: Theory and Practice, MIT Press, and a Partner at Aicon Art in downtown Manhattan. Previously, he was an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin, Editorial Board Member at Economic Theory and a Partner at Aicon Art Funds.
He is a microeconomist and game theorist with a special interest in the Economics of Climate Change. His past research focused on Dynamic Programming and Mathematical Economics, Capital Allocation and Growth Theory, Market Survival and Moral Hazard. He became interested in Stochastic Games twenty years back and continues to work in that area with an added emphasis on Asynchronous Games and Climate Change Modeling.
