Jesse is a a Collegiate Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago and teaches Global Society in the College Core. Trained as a quantitative social scientist, Jesse does interdisciplinary research on demography and population health. Before joining the University of Chicago, Jesse was a postdoctoral scholar at the Center for Economic History at Northwestern University. Jesse has a PhD in Sustainable Development from Columbia University.
